Artemis Hotels Management has announced the promotion of Lee Norris to hotel director at Colessio in Stirling.
Artemis Hotels Management said the move recognises his leadership and role in the delivery of the “significant commercial turnaround” at the landmark 39-bedroom property.
The promotion follows a “transformative period” for the hotel under Artemis’ management, during which Colessio has recorded an increase in profits in 2025. It said the performance uplift has been driven by “strengthened operational discipline, refined commercial strategy, and a repositioning of the property as a premium independent stay within the region”.
Since joining the business, Norris has worked closely with Artemis founder and director Chris Charalambous to implement a clear performance framework across all departments. The strategic reset included tighter cost controls, enhanced revenue management practices, supply chain refinement, and a renewed focus on guest experience standards aligned to a premium positioning within the market.
In his new role, Norris will assume full strategic responsibility for the property’s operational and commercial performance, reporting directly to Artemis Hotels Management. His remit will include driving sustained profitability, overseeing the continued brand evolution, and strengthening Colessio’s position within the Stirling market.
Charalambous said: “Lee’s promotion to hotel director reflects both his commercial acumen and his ability to lead from the front. The turnaround at Colessio is the result of disciplined operational management combined with strong, people-focused leadership. Lee has demonstrated the strategic capability required to drive performance while building a resilient team culture. This promotion recognises that achievement and positions the property strongly for its next phase of growth.”
Norris added: “The progress we have achieved at Colessio has been built on clarity of direction, collective effort, and a shared commitment to high standards. Stepping into the role of hotel director provides an opportunity to continue that momentum, ensuring the hotel remains commercially focused, operationally robust, and firmly embedded within the local business community.”
