A privately owned estate in Scotland has received its first major industry nomination following a multi-million-pound refurbishment.
The Imperia Spa at Gleddoch Golf and Spa Resort is shortlisted for Scotland’s Best Hotel Spa 2026 at the World Spa Awards.
The nomination follows the opening of the facility in June 2025. Industry professionals, media and consumers will cast votes to determine the winners between 27 May and 4 August 2026.
The facility features an outdoor sauna with views across the Clyde Estuary and Renfrewshire hills. It includes a pink Himalayan salt sauna, aroma steam room, ice fountain, hydrotherapy pool and cold plunge.
The site also houses a restaurant, wellbeing studio, fitness suite and seven treatment rooms. Services are provided in partnership with brands including Natura Bissé, Elemis, Temple Spa and Tri-Dosha.
General manager James Anderson said: “The team at Imperia Spa are absolutely delighted to be nominated for Scotland’s Best Hotel Spa 2026. Following the launch of our newly transformed spa, this recognition is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.”
