Gisborough Hall has appointed Vicki Jackson as spa director to oversee the strategic direction and operations of the hotel’s wellness facilities.

Jackson joined the North Yorkshire country house hotel in 2017 as business development manager before serving as deputy hotel manager.

The appointment precedes the launch of the new Sakura Spa this summer. The facility features a spa garden with a vitality pool, herbal sauna, salt steam room, Finnish sauna, and cold plunge. It also includes six treatment rooms and a Japanese head spa.

The development includes an on-site dining space named Koyo, which is the Japanese term for ‘autumn leaves’. The restaurant will serve light dishes, including seasonal salads, brunch, and juices.

Online and telephone bookings will open on 19 May 2026. Initial availability for the new facilities will begin from mid-August.

Jackson said: “Sakura Spa is such an exciting vision to be bringing to life, and I’m absolutely thrilled to step into this new role. From the treatments to the thermal journey and dining, every detail has been so thoughtfully designed, and I can’t wait to welcome guests through the doors this summer.”
