Luxury hotel group the Nici has expanded its portfolio with the opening of two new hotels in the New Forest and Newquay.

The Nici New Forest, set within 23 acres on the banks of the Lymington River, occupies the former Elmers Court Hotel, with the group renovating the premises into a 118-guestroom resort. The hotel offers an immersive spa, a cafe and separate restaurant and a heated outdoor swimming pool.

Meanwhile, the Nici Newquay has opened at the former Hotel Victoria which the group acquired in 2024. The location offers 82 guest rooms, an Amalfi-inspired restaurant, a renovated NICI spa including an indoor swimming pool, thermal facilities and treatment rooms as well as an extensive gym and fitness space.

Lukasz Dwornik, managing director of the Nici Group, said: “The openings of the Nici New Forest and the Nici Newquay represent a defining moment for our lifestyle brand and a major step forward in our growth journey. Both destinations embody everything the Nici stands for – exceptional hospitality, inspiring design and memorable experiences in extraordinary locations.

“While each property has its own unique character and sense of place, they share a common vision of redefining the modern UK coastal escape.”

The dual launch is set to be followed by further growth, as plans to renovate the Town Quay development in Southampton are currently underway.
