Aviator, a luxury hotel in Farnborough, North Hampshire has announced plans to reopen from Saturday 4 July, in line with the latest Government guidelines.

The property’s bedrooms and suites will also be available to book from 4 July, and the hotel will also be reopening its destination Sky Bar from 11am until close every day.

The Aviator’s gastropub, located a stone’s throw from the hotel, will also be reopening on Saturday 4 July, from 2pm until close daily.

Aviator said: “Whilst delivering a high level of service to every guest remains a priority to the team at Aviator, they are implementing the strictest of health and safety standards to reduce guest contact and therefore guests can expect to see a reduced team and reduced menus available across its two properties, whilst the business gets back on its feet.”

Additionally, the hotel has appointed Adam Skrzypczak as its new general manager, bringing with him four and a half “invaluable” years’ contribution as director of operations at the property and a wealth of prior industry expertise.

With almost two decades’ experience within hospitality, including success at properties in London, the home counties as well as further afield in Eastern and Central Europe, Skrzypczak will be responsible for leading Aviator and the hotel’s neighbouring gastropub The Swan.

Skrzypczak will commence his new role from 1 July 2020.

He said: “Having seen first-hand how the business has grown from strength to strength over the past few years, I am looking forward to building upon these successes by leading the hotel through this period of uncertainty and positioning it on a route for growth, alongside a dynamic and dedicated team that I already know and respect.”
