The Inn Collection Group launched its newest pub with rooms, Offshore, in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. The venue, overlooking St Annes Pier, features 98 bedrooms and extensive remodelling from its previous incarnation as the Lindum and Carlton hotels. The renovation transformed the Victorian-era building into a vibrant pub with modern amenities, including a revamped kitchen. Roadchef announced plans to open the UK’s second Super 8 by Wyndham hotel at its Durham motorway services on the A1(M). This follows the success of the first Super 8 hotel in Chester, which achieved Wyndham’s highest level of Green Certification for sustainable practices. The property, featuring 21 bedrooms, a bar, restaurant, and an annexed Ayr Brewing Company Brewery, attracted significant interest from local business owners.
