Dalata Hotel Group has raised more than €40,000 (£34,800) through its annual Difference Makers Month, a company-wide fundraising campaign supporting The Marie Keating Foundation, Leukaemia Care, and Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.

The September initiative featured more than 200 events across Dalata’s 56 hotels and central office, keeping the group on track to meet its 2025 fundraising goal of €380,000 ((£330,630) and its wider target of €1m (870m) by 2028.

Highlights included The Great Dalata Cycle, which saw six employees complete a 500km ride from London to Amsterdam, and the launch of a new group-wide event, The Great Dalata Charity Run, with staff collectively covering 3,000km by taking part in registered races such as the Dublin and London Half Marathons.

The Difference Makers initiative supports the group’s three long-term charity partners across Ireland, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, reflecting Dalata’s wider commitment to invest in its people, its communities and a culture of care.

Dermot Crowley, Dalata chief executive, said: “Our teams across all hotels and central offices have once again shown extraordinary generosity and commitment. Dalata’s Difference Makers reflect the very best of our people. We are incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved and excited to see how the next phase of our community journey unfolds.”
