The former K West Hotel in Shepherd’s Bush is set to reopen in February 2026 as Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherd’s Bush after a full refurbishment.

Operator IHG Hotels said the relaunch would introduce a revamped design influenced by the building’s history as the BBC’s Kensington House recording studios. Artists including David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley previously recorded at the site.

The redesigned hotel will offer 231 bedrooms, with a number of suites, alongside a restaurant with an open kitchen, a neighbourhood bar and an urban spa focused on wellbeing. The company said the spa would be the first of its kind in the area.

Located close to O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Bush Hall, BBC Television Studios and Westfield London, the property is aimed at leisure and business travellers.

IHG said more details about the opening programme would be released in the coming months as it prepares to relaunch what it described as a notable West London landmark.
