Two Seas Hotels has acquired the Celtic International Hotel on Port Road in Barry, close to Cardiff City Airport, for an undisclosed sum.
The hotel, which operates 50 bedrooms, includes a full-service offering with a recently refurbished bar and restaurant.
It is positioned adjacent to the airport and serves both leisure and business guests.
The sale was handled by Sam Roberts, senior business agent at Christie and Co.
The acquisition adds another Welsh property to the Two Seas Hotels portfolio as the group continues to expand its presence in the regional hospitality market.
Mr Zaman, director at Two Seas Hotels, said: “The hotel has lots of future potential, and we are delighted to add it to our portfolio.”
Roberts added: “Following a targeted marketing campaign, the hotel was transferred to the new owners, who were attracted by its strong operational profile, strategic location, and clear potential for future development and enhancement.
“The transaction reflects continued demand for quality hotel opportunities across the region, and we are pleased to have delivered a successful outcome for all parties.”
