Hyatt Regency London Olympia has announced the appointment of a five-member leadership team to manage the development and operational setup ahead of its official launch this spring. 

The team will be led by general manager Georges Moura, who has 20 years of experience  with the Hyatt group and previously served as hotel manager at Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. 

Moura will oversee brand positioning and strategic planning for the site, which is located within the Olympia regeneration district in West London and will feature 204 rooms.

Director of sales and marketing Yanal Tarazi joins from a cluster role at The Dixon Tower Bridge and Lost Property St Paul’s. Tarazi holds an MA in international marketing and communications.

Director of human resources Roberto Alcaide has spent six years with Hyatt. Alcaide currently serves as a mentor within the group’s UK leadership programme and co-chairs the Women@Hyatt UK chapter.

The financial strategy will be managed by director of finance Edyta Osiej, who recently led the pre-opening finance team for the Park Hyatt London River Thames which launched in October 2024.

In addition, director of engineering Mesrihel Dell’ovo will oversee facilities and asset management. Dell’ovo brings 24 years of experience and previously worked as cluster chief engineer for Hyatt sites in Heathrow and Stratford.

Moura said: “The newly formed team brings a wealth of global hospitality experience to guide the pre-opening strategy and establish the hotel as one of West London’s most exciting new destinations.”
