Booking website Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has reported a 13% rise in revenue for Q2, compared with the same period last year.

The rise was accompanied by a 6% increase in room nights during the period.

SLH, which represents 520 hotels around the world, has also announced that reservations are up by 208% on mobile, and reservations on tablets were up by 20%.

In addition SLH also saw 15 new hotels join its portfolio in quarter two, bringing the total of new hotels to 27 so far in 2014.

The ‘Club of SLH’, the firm’s brand loyalty programme, continues to perform strongly with over 350,000 members globally, with key markets in the USA, Germany, Canada, Australia and the UK.

Tim Davis, managing director of brand and communications at SLH, said: “We continue to put our club members at the heart of our business by delivering more relevant, targeted and personalised marketing.

“We are seeing some high spends from our top tiered honoured members and have members who have spent over $65,000 (£38,000) with us already in 2014.”
