The Newman hotel in Fitzrovia has launched the Neighbourhood Club, a community-led membership scheme that donates all subscription profits to local charities.
The initiative aims to support the central London district through a rotating selection of charitable partners. Membership is priced from £15 per month and offers benefits across the hotel’s 81 guest rooms, suites, and wellness facilities.
Members receive priority booking at the hotel’s Brasserie Angelica and Gambit Bar, alongside perks at local independent businesses. Partners include Miel Bakery, Lucy Wong, XO Chocolate, and Lore of the Land.
The hotel, designed by London studio Lind + Almond, features a contemporary Art Deco aesthetic. The 19th Century cultural history of the area influenced the design narrative, including references to figures such as Nancy Cunard.
The site includes a rooftop penthouse suite with a private terrace and sauna. Introductory benefits for new members include access to specific rates for Sunday night stays.
General manager Oliver Milne-Watson said: “Neighbourhood Club is about creating something that feels truly rooted in Fitzrovia – where our guests, members, and neighbours all benefit together. By directing all profits from membership into a rotating selection of local charities, we’re ensuring that every membership has a meaningful and lasting impact on the community we’re proud to be part of.”
