Líbere Hospitality Group has officially opened its first property in Seville, on Calle Albareda, after converting a former office building into the 47-unit aparthotel.
The 3,758-sqm site, known as Líbere Seville Plaza Nueva, is located in the city’s historic old town and consists of two buildings connected by a central courtyard.
Accommodation at the property includes 13 studios, 30 one-bedroom and four two-bedroom apartments. The site can accommodate 170 guests and features a ground-floor restaurant.
The project involved a full office-to-hospitality conversion, with developers retaining the original structure while rebuilding the façades and redesigning interiors. The building has achieved a BREEAM Excellent sustainability rating.
The property features digital entry systems and 13 on-site parking bays. Smart home automation is used throughout for climate control and electric locks, managed via a mobile application.
The opening brings the operational portfolio of Líbere Hospitality Group to 1,061 units, which represents a 76% increase year-on-year for the company.
The firm now manages a pan-European portfolio of more than 2,300 units across Spain, the UK, Portugal, Italy, Greece and France.
Antón de la Rica, chief executive of Líbere Hospitality Group, said: “The opening of this new building in Seville consolidates our presence in Spain’s major cities. Seville is a destination with enormous tourist appeal and a business ecosystem in full growth, which guarantees sustained demand for flexible, quality accommodation.”
