Oxford Belfry hotel appoints new GM

The Oxford Belfry hotel has appointed Robin Ford GM of the 154-bedroom property.

Ford, from Worcester, has over 18 years’ experience in the industry and has worked in Australia and Ireland, as well as senior management roles at Crowne Plaza and Macdonald Hotels.

The hotel features a health club, spa, restaurant, bar and lounge as well as 17 conference and meeting rooms.

Commenting on his appointment, Ford said: “I’m pleased to have the opportunity to come on board as general manager at such an exciting time, as the hotel prepares to rebrand and join the DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio.

“My focus will be on ensuring the team continues to offer our guests the first class service they have come to expect, whether they’re taking a short break with us, attending a conference, or simply popping in for a coffee or a bite to eat.”
