The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands has announced the appointment of Frédéric Marti as resort manager and João Miguel Pais as director of food and beverage

Marti joins the North Malé Atoll property with more than 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East (EMEA). He previously served as resort manager at Joali Being in the Maldives, where he managed daily operations including rooms and guest experience.

His career includes roles at Four Seasons Resort Bahrain and 45 Park Lane, part of the Dorchester Collection in the UK. In his new position, Marti is responsible for all resort operations and maintaining service standards.

Meanwhile, Pais joins the team following a tenure at Four Seasons Madrid, where he managed multiple restaurant concepts, event spaces, and large-scale culinary teams. He has previously held leadership roles in Portugal, Spain, and Angola, with a background in Michelin-starred environments and luxury service.

At the Fari Islands resort, Pais will lead all food and beverage operations and develop the property’s culinary identity.
